We are proud to announce that Jeffrey Wei Liu, UNESCO cultural ambassador, Cambridge Fellow and international entrepreneur, has joined NCF as an Ambassador, drawn to Newmarket by its unique place at the heart of British heritage and culture.
Jeffrey is the CEO and founder of Blue Mountain Global Intercultural Exchange Group and Senior Partner at Beijing Cornerstone & Partners Law Firm, with business operations spanning Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania. As a UNESCO World Heritage cultural ambassador, he has spent years championing heritage conservation and cross-cultural dialogue around the world.
In 2025, he was appointed as the first Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region of The Shaw Society, founded by Nobel Prize-winning playwright George Bernard Shaw. This marks the first appointment from the Asia-Pacific region in the society’s 85-year history since its establishment in 1941.
In 2026, he became the first person in the history of St Edmund’s College, University of Cambridge to be elected a Foundation Fellow, a distinction that reflects both his philanthropic commitment and his deep ties to British academic and cultural life.
