The Hub @ Severals
Walk & Talk is a mixed group of young people who are looking to combine socialising with exercise-based activities. Although activities are often governed by the weather, we try to get outside in the fresh air as often as possible. The aims of the group are:
To improve mental health by feeling healthier, having someone to talk to, knowing where to go for help or support and reducing loneliness and isolation.
To improve confidence and self-esteem by feeling part of a group – feeling safe, feeling valued and increasing social interaction.
To increase social interaction with other young people by developing supportive networks and friendships.
