Newsells Stud

Newsells Park Stud is one of Europe’s foremost commercial stud farms.  Established 100 years ago and now covering 1,200 acres of prime undulating pasture, the stud has established an international reputation for raising, selling and racing thoroughbreds of the highest class including Classic/multiple Gr.1 winners Waldgeist, Legatissimo, Japan, Mogul and Masked Marvel.  In recent years, the stud has also been entrusted with the responsibility of raising bloodstock on behalf of several outstanding breeders.

In addition, Newsells Park Stud stands three stallions: the Classic producing sire Nathaniel, triple Gr.2 winning two-year-old sprinter A’Ali and the fastest Gr.1 winning miler son of Frankel, Without Parole. 

The ALBORADA Trust​

The ALBORADA Trust aims to provide funding for medical and veterinary causes, research, education, the welfare of animals and with the provision of relief to disaster areas worldwide.  Total grants made: £26.6m

The Jockey Club

First founded in 1750, for a large part of its history The Jockey Club was responsible the governance and regulation of horseracing. In 2006 it relinquished these roles and has since grown into one of the largest sports businesses operating in the UK. It is governed by Royal Charter to act for the long-term benefit of horseracing, Britain’s second-biggest spectator sport. At its 15 racecourses, including two in Newmarket, it run some of the nation’s biggest events such as The QIPCO Guineas Festival, The Moët & Chandon July Fesitval and the Dubai Future Champions Festival.

The Jockey Club welcomes customers from across society to enjoy world-class sport, stunning hospitality and the very best in non-raceday events, as well as managing Newmarket’s world-renowned equine facilities alongside training centres in Lambourn and Epsom. It also operates The National Stud and the charity Racing Welfare which provides support to all of racing’s people.
