Earlier in the year, Trustees Noel Byrne, Laraine Moody and James Crowhurst presented a cheque for £2000 to Ian Jackson, Sports Partnership Manager, Forest Heath Sports Partnership.
He said: “This donation will have a significant impact on the young people of Newmarket and the surrounding villages. Sports leaders from Newmarket Academy will benefit from gaining both formal qualifications and recognition for the support they provide to local primary schools. At the same time, children in Early Years settings and their parents will be given the chance to develop a lifelong love of physical activity by learning FUNdamental skills through play. We hope that this is just the start of what will be a partnership that thrives over time”.
