More and more individuals are seeking creative, stimulating space to work in which is closer to home – partly as a result of covid and the increase in hybrid working, but also for new start-ups, entrepreneurs needing business support facilities on a budget.
Generating such a space, ideally close to or on the High Street, will contribute to the regeneration of the centre of Newmarket, facilitating the growth of home-grown businesses, stimulating employment, and bringing footfall to the neighbouring retail units.
The charity will need to work in partnership with an operator with a proven track record in establishing co-working facilities.
Charity funding would be used to establish a location for such a facility.
