Developing career opportunities for young people in Newmarket is a growing focus for Newmarket Charitable Foundation. Through initiatives like the annual Careers Festival and the Careers Expo, we are working in partnership with Newmarket Academy, local employers and authorities to inspire the next generation and showcase the wide range of pathways available right here in our town. These events have already brought together hundreds of students and dozens of organisations, offering hands-on experiences and real insight into the world of work, thought visits to individual businesses and by hearing about local organisations at Newmarket Academy.
By connecting young people with industries such as horseracing, healthcare, science, and the creative sector, we’re helping to build confidence, raise aspirations, and strengthen the local talent pipeline.
