Stable Start is a unique project Newmarket Charitable Foundation has developed with local and sector partners to support young people preparing to enter the horseracing industry.
Delivered in partnership with The Racing Centre, The Racing Foundation, Tattersalls and Godolphin, Stable Start is designed to support young people entering the racing industry by providing accommodation within a welcoming and supportive household environment. Funded for two years and being piloted in Newmarket, the initiative aims to provide safe and supportive accommodation through the support of local hosts. Hosts participating in the Stable Start project will also receive comprehensive support as they house and mentor young learners.
Stable Start is expected to be a valuable addition to the racing-wide support networks for young racing talent.
